Solid piece with no issues. Just quality all around with adjustabilty of the plates to your preference.
Shaves are impressive and smooth. You can feel some blade on your face but still very comfortable. I got the stainless steel version and wished they offered a very shiny polished version to make it pop more on the counter. The stand is great. It's heavy.
The brush is amazing too. Very soft with good backbone. Lathers up real good. Great comfortable handle. The soap? Amazing too! Smells ok but wow, insane how it lathers with very little product! High end soap that's very affordable!
I would definitely buy this kit again if I had to!
Shave was even better than expected. Expensive but worth every cent.
Awesome razor and you add gold platting….best razor on the market!!!
Comparison of ROCKWELL 6C and T2
Both are mild types, but you can feel the difference in their characteristics.
6C: Has a sense of weight.
Uses a 6 head, is mild, and provides a solid shave.
T2: Used at setting 6 (even though it's the same 6 as the 6C, the T2 is more aggressive).
The sound when shaving and the vibrations felt in the hand are sharp and pleasant.
Some people say that with adjustments to the settings, this one razor is all you need.
Depending on the shaving area, the size of the head (GAME CHANGER, 316, 37c are thinner) can be a concern.
Compared to the Muhle R41, the T2 is a model student, while the R41 is a dangerously aggressive razor...
If the Rex adjustable slant Konsul version of the T2 comes out, I would probably buy it even if it's expensive.
Price: I paid RM 1,556.20 for the main unit + customs duties + shipping + currency exchange fees.
A few points of concern: Manufacturing, assembly, and initial quality checks are done in China (I think this is for cost reduction, but to avoid having technology stolen...).
Honestly, the best product and service I have ever gotten in my life. Very affordable and effective shaver. Better that that Gilet. Fully recommend this product. Honestly, wanted to purchase the Gold shaver. However, I will not do justice to it.
T2 has more blade exposure than 6s so it is aggressive than 6s, it does the work nicely. Really in love with this razor.
These blades gave me a great shave. I"m a beginner in wet shaving and have not tried many brands of razors and blades but I'm more than satisfied with the price and quality of blade here.
I've had my razor for several years now and love it. Unfortunately once we moved the stone floors of our new shower were much less forgiving when my razor gets knocked off the shelf. I added the stand to my warrantied parts orded very easily and the service from the support staff was wonderful as always
I have loved my Rockwell razor since the beginning and was gutted when it fell and broke in the shower. I emailed them to see if there was a way I could order just the parts I needed instead of a whole new set and they told me they would send me the parts I needed for free! I was so impressed. Their customer service was great, friendly and responded in a timely manner. I would 10/10 recommend Rockwell razors to anyone looking for a sustainable product from an amazing company.
Very happy with the purchase of the razors.
Will be buying again
Too light, and the handle is too thin for my tastes.
Coming from the disposable cartridge side of the house, this is the first DE safety razor I’ve owned. Easy to use and felt comfortable in my hand. Will eventually go with the 6S or ever the titanium version.
One of my all time favorite after shave smelling, worthwhile to give it a try. Smelling is masculine and not over fruity and flourish.
SInce this is my first safety razor, I can't compare it to others. BUT! I got tired of paying insane prices for Gillette's Turbo Mach 3 blades that just seem to go up in price and down in quality. I couldn't be happier for the switch. I bought Rockwell's full package with the brush, shave lotion, 3 heads (6 settings), and blades, and I'm very satisfied. I started growing my beard for winter so haven't done a full face shave yet with my Rockwell, just above and below the beard. TO SUM IT ALL UP: Great 1st safety razor and I strongly suggest for you to buy the full package as I did. Well worth the extra price! The lotion and brush work better than any big name store bought shaving cream I've ever used! That's about 40 years experience. And you don't need but a dab.
Great smell and lathers up second to none.
I have been doing a comparison between all the top razorblades including Feathers, Merkurs, Muhles, Nacets, Gillette Blue, Personnas, and Rockwells, and although the Feathers are the sharpest, they are slightly too agressive for me, but on my face with my various razors, Rockwells are the most well-rounded blades.
I only shave with a double edge razor. I lost my other one so I tried Rockwell since I've only seen good things about it. I used it for a few months before it started to show signs of rust. I used it everyday and after every use I clean it (take it apart and pat it down with a clean towel) and yet after 4-5 months it was rusted. This has never happened to my previous double edge razors. I contacted support about this issue but since it was more than 60 days since purchase, they could not refund me, they just offered to send me replacement parts for what is rusted BUT the customer is required to pay shipping. I did not want to pay for the shipping. I bought another razor from another company and I suggest you do the same.
This is my favorite razor in spite of my Henson, Gillette Slim, and Gillette Super Speed. I love it so much I had to buy a second for a buddy. Customer service with Rockwell is top notch too. I’m so pleased, I will be getting another Rockwell for certain.
Hopefully this razor is better than the first one. I needed medical attention after the faulty razor cutting me badly. Wasn’t impressed!
Of course durability to be seen but otherwise perfect I see no reason why it wouldn’t outlast the razor itself so no complaints
